Transport is charged at £1/mile for hires requiring

Terms and Conditions. Bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of 20% deposit (minimum £100). Cancellations can only be refunded in the event of no loss of alternative booking. The balance is due immediately upon satisfactory erection of all tents. It is the Hirers responsibility to inform the Supplier of any services (water, sewerage, electric, telecommunication etc…) traversing the site that may affect the erection of the hired tents. The site should be level and well drained. Vehicle access right up to site is assumed and any carrying will be charged. All electrical instillations must be carried out by a competent electrician and with our agreement. Dressers and decorators must discuss in advance all materials they will be using. Staple guns, pins and some adhesive tapes can damage the structure. Fabrics should be fire proofed and colour fast. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to see that all dressers and participants are aware of these conditions. No wax candles, nightlights, oil lamps or other naked flames to be used in the tents. In certain circumstances it may be necessary for our own stewards to be present at the event. I have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. |
Currently we have, 14', 21', 28' and 42' ("the Grand Yurt") Yurts for hire, 20, 40, 80 & 250 people are their respective capacities. These tents can be interlinked to form an even bigger structure. The "Grand Yurt" with its "iwan" style 14' yurt porch is over 1500sqft (150 +sqm) and in its centre it rises to over 20'. With its 14 arched windows in the upper dome of the tent it resembles a nomadic version of the Agia Sofia in Istanbul.

In 2007 we completed our 6 bay multi-yurt to add to our hire portfolio, which is one clear space and has a capacity to hold 120 people. These tents are fantastic group spaces, ideal for large camps, feasts, parties, ceremonial gatherings, weddings, exhibition spaces or even births. In addition we have a Berber style tent the "ouled nail" a perfect space for reclining in and listening to stories and music or for chatting to friends over a glass of wine. If you wish, we have a very large selection of authentic kilim carpets, cushions, sofas, tables, Afghan chairs and woodburning stoves all for hire. This means we have the largest selection of yurts for rent in Devon and the South West.
Some of our past customers have included, Dartington International Summer School and Ways With Words literature festival, Bristol Zoo, Natural England, BMW Mini, Oxford University, Glastonbury and Bestival music festivals and many more events organisers, corporate companies and private individuals.
Prices vary considerably (from £250 to £5000) depending on; location, which tents you want, season, duration and fixtures and fittings. For example a couple of 21' Yurts with carpets for a week in the early summer (within 50 miles of our base in Devon) would be a £950.
